Adult Inpatient Programs
The Horsham Clinic’s Short Term Adult Treatment (STAT) Units provide care to adults who are ages 18 and older who have chronic and persistent mental illness.
The goal of our Adult Behavioral Health Programs is to provide a comprehensive assessment, evaluation, stabilization of the person’s primary symptoms, and enhance their individual strengths. We help patients develop coping mechanisms, as well as educate them on their disease to help create the best opportunity to prevent relapse.
Our adult inpatient units incorporate the principles of recovery into the treatment planning process and care delivery system. Recovery is a highly personal and individual process that occurs over time. However, recovery does not mean that a person will live the rest of his or her life free of symptoms, or that he or she will regain all the losses incurred from their psychiatric problems.
After recovery, patients can live without feeling powerless because of their mental health issues, or without believing that their potential or opportunities have been diminished because of their issues.
