Jagruti Amin, M.D.
Jagruti Amin, MD is a board-certified Child Psychiatrist in the Child and Adolescent Partial Program on our main campus in Ambler, Pa. Dr. Amin has worked at The Horsham Clinic since 2001 and is president of the medical staff here.
She graduated from Topiwala National Medical School in Bombay, India with a Bachelor of Medicine degree. The doctor completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry’s New Jersey Medical School. She also completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center.
Dr. Amin’s prior work experience includes Medical Directorship of Northeast Medical Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program in Concord, North Carolina. She was also an attending physician for child and adolescent psychiatry at Charter Pines Behavioral Health System in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was attending physician for child and adolescent psychiatry at Charter Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia, Pa.
Isabella Dyakovetsky, MD has been working in the adult units at The Horsham Clinic since 2001. Before coming to The Horsham Clinic, Dr. Dyakovetsky worked at Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, NJ. She also operates an independent practice in Southampton, PA.
Dr. Dyakovetsky completed a residency Adult Psychiatry at the MCP – Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her previous work experience includes working at a state mental hospital in Tashkent, Uzbekistan as a Staff Psychiatrist and a State Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry.
David M. Danish, M.D.
David Danish. MD is board certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and completed his clinical rotations at The Horsham Clinic during that fellowship.
Dr. Danish joined The Horsham Clinic’s Medical Staff in August 2012, and serves as the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for The Horsham Clinic’s Children’s Partial Hospitalization Program in Philadelphia. He also treats children, teens and adults in Horsham’s inpatient units, and assists in our Assessment and Referral Center.
Scott Harman, M.D.
Scott Harman, MD started with The Horsham Clinic in 2011 as an Adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Harman graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va., and completed a residency in Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa. He is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Prior to joining The Horsham Clinic, Dr. Harman worked at Northwestern Human Services in Lansdale, Pa., and previously worked as a psychiatrist at the Central Montgomery Mental Health/Mental Retardation Center in Norristown, Pa. In that role, he served as psychiatrist for the Older Adult Day Program, Senior Outreach Services and as a consulting psychiatrist at Montgomery County Assisted Living.
Uma Nuthi, M.D.
Uma Nuthi, MD has been with The Horsham Clinic since 1998. She began her career as a Program Director for one of Horsham’s Adolescent units. She is now the lead Psychiatrist for our inpatient Children’s Unit.
Prior to Horsham she was a staff psychiatrist at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital, the Renewal Center and St. Luke’s Psychiatric Associates. She completed her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Philadelphia Child Guidance Center and her Residency in Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Chala Sargent Pratt, MD is board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. She joined the medical staff at The Horsham Clinic in January 2012 as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Dr. Pratt graduated from the University of Texas Medical School of Houston, Texas. She completed her residency and fellowship training at MCP-Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she worked with children, teens and adults.
Dr. Pratt has significant experience and knowledge in working with children and adolescents. Her previous positions include Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment in Philadelphia, KidsPeace, based in Schnecksville, Pa. and Montgomery County Emergency Service in Norristown, Pa.
Huma Mahmood, DO joined The Horsham Clinic in July 2013, and is the attending psychiatrist of the Partial Hospitalization Program at our Delaware County location. Dr. Mahmood graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine.
She completed her residency in psychiatry at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa., and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia. During her residency, Dr. Mahmood co-founded and was the co-leader for a Coping Skills Training Group.
Community outreach and volunteer work is important to Dr. Mahmood, who has also been actively involved in Child Development and Early Intervention Programs for Adolescents.
Olumide O. Oluwabusi, MD, MRCPsych. joined The Horsham Clinic in July 2013. Dr. Oluwabusi (Dr. Olu) specializes in Child, Adolescent, General Adult and Forensic Psychiatry.
Dr. Olu is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) in Philadelphia. The Horsham Clinic has a partnership with that institution. The doctor’s faculty position includes supervising medical students, psychiatry residents and fellows in child psychiatry.
Dr. Olu completed adult psychiatry training and successfully completed the requirements for Membership at the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in London, United Kingdom. He completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa.
He also completed an Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program at the Philadelphia Psychoanalytical Center, and was certified by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT).
In addition, he completed his Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the Law and Psychiatry Division, Department of Psychiatry, at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Conn.
His areas of interest include Neurobiology of Trauma, PTSD, ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome, psychosis, mood disorders and psychopharmacology, as well as ethics, law and psychiatry.
Andrew Simonson, M.D.
Andrew Simonson, MD has been with The Horsham Clinic since 1996 and has served in several different capacities. He is currently a psychiatrist in our Inpatient Units. Prior to joining the staff at Horsham, Dr. Simonson was the Outpatient Chief Resident at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center’s Department of Child Psychiatry.
Evan J. Thomas, MD started his career at The Horsham Clinic in 2003. He currently works in our Adult Partial Hospitalization program. Dr. Thomas oversees and works with the team in developing effective treatment strategies for clients who attend the program. Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pa. and completed his residency in psychiatry at the Institute of the Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Thomas was awarded the “Philadelphia Resident of the Year Award” by that facility.
The doctor completed his training in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. He is an active member of the American Psychoanalytic and International Psychoanalytic Associations.
